Delete your GreatPosts data
You can delete what GreatPosts holds about you yourself, or ask us to. You do not need an account to remove a Community Diamond or to stop invitations.
If you have a GreatPosts account
Sign into your account and use “Delete account”. That removes the account, its Threads connection, its sign-in sessions, your website choices, your saved designs, your drafts, and the history of the Community Diamonds you gave, and it deletes the stored Threads access used to find the post you tag. You can also download a copy of your data there first, hide all your website features, or turn off the tag lookup on its own.
If a Community Diamond was given to your post
You never need an account for this. Reply “withdraw” to the bot’s reply or to its announcement post on Threads: the website card is hidden and the bot’s posts about it are queued for deletion. Reply “stop” to anything the bot posts to stop all future invitations (reply “start” to come back).
From Threads
Remove GreatPosts under Apps and websites in your Threads settings. We receive a signed notice, end your GreatPosts sessions, hide your website features and delete the stored Threads access.
Ask us
If you cannot sign in, email dylan@dentedprinter.com from an address we can match to you or message us from your Threads account. We may need to confirm it is really you. We aim to answer within 30 days.
What can remain, and for how long
Deleting your data does not delete your Threads posts or replies, or the bot’s Threads posts that are already public (a recipient can withdraw those as described above). Copies held by Meta, or downloaded or cached elsewhere, cannot be recalled. We keep a keyed one-way hash of a username that opted out and a hashed reference to a post that must not be invited again, so we can respect those choices; neither can be turned back into a name or a link. Evidence needed to finish follow-up replies is kept for up to 30 days. Hosting backups expire on their own (database backups about 9 days, file backups about 2 weeks).
The privacy notice explains all of this in full.
